About
The Sabo School of Irish Dance is Schuylkill County’s only Irish Dance School
We are an all inclusive school that offers classes from children ages 18 months through adults. We are proud members of Comhdháil na Múinteoirí le Rincí Gaelacha Teoranta and apart of the USA Irish Dance Alliance.
Aside from taking class, dancers of the Sabo School have the option to perform several times a year in shows, festivals, parades and more. They also may choose to compete in competitions throughout the year. Everything is optional so dancers can decide how much or little they would like to participate in. We also offer a one of a kind Stars class which is a free class for dancers with special needs. These dancers get the chance to learn Irish dance as well as participate in many of the performances and competitions with the entire school throughout the year.
The Sabo School also offers a highly competitive option for those dancers looking to excel in the competition world. These dancers will be expected to train multiple times a week and compete monthly. When these dancers reach the highest level in Irish dance, Open Championship, they will go on to represent our school at the An Chomhdháil World Championships in Ireland every year.

Sabo Values
At Sabo, we believe that each one of our students is a part of our family. We pride ourselves on the attention and care we provide, while helping each dancer reach their full potential. Irish Dance is a fun, diligent way to practice hard work and dedication while providing a creative outlet. If you have any questions please reach out; we would love to welcome you to the Sabo School of Irish Dance Family.

About the Founder
TCRG Jacqueline Sabo Metzinger has been teaching for over 15 years. She was a championship level dancer herself who achieved top level ranking regionally, nationnally and at the World Championship level.
Miss Jackie lives in Orwigsburg with her family. She and her husband William have seven children and are involved with multiple businesses throughout Schuylkill County. Their three youngest children also dance for the Sabo School.
Miss Jackie’s mission with the dance school is for it to be a place where everyone feels welcomed. She has classes for all dancers and ability levels so the school can be a place where the whole family can take class. She tries to treat each student like her own while giving them the best dance experience in and outside the studio.
